This article is about a very particular beach located in Mauritius. Mauritius is an island that is found in Africa, near Madagascar and Mozanbique, and one of the beaches has something in the water that can be seen depending on the point of view of the person.
The sand and water combined together in one of the coasts of the island creates an optical illusion and it looks like an underwater waterfall within the ocean.
According to the article, what science explains is that in reality there is no such waterfall in the water, it is just the impression of the sand and the movement of the water that it looks as if there is the waterfall inside it.

I discovered this underwater waterfall few years ago and I was so so impressed that I loved the view of them under the water. At the beginning I couldn't understand how there was a waterfall UNDER the water if normally waterfalls are outside the water...normally...but then I read that in reality it was an illusory image.

I really really love those gifts that nature gives us. And I consider that these underwater waterfalls in Mauritius are a gift from nature because you cannot see them in any other part of the world. I think is magnificent this illusory image from the sand and the water because it really really really looks like a waterfall.

I consider this as a phenomenon that nature gives us. And it cannot be seen from any city in the world, no, it is special, and just in some places it can be seen. So, is why I think it needs to be considered as a special gift that nature creates, and we are able to see it and to appreciate it.

Underwater bridge

Holland-Flevoland, Netherlands

This article is about an underwater bridge that was constructed in Holland in 2002. The particularity of this bridge is that it is a canal bridge for ships, and the cars go under the water canal.

The engineers created this bridge that connects the continental area of Holland and the artificial island Flevoland.

The bridge has 3 meters of depth. It has sidewalks for the pedestrians. And more than 28.000 cars use this bridge, while the ships can travel on the top of the ship comfortably.

I like the fact that this very particular bridge is totally different from the bridges that we are used to see. Because, the normal bridges that humans have made comes from the idea of the natural bridges made of wooden log on the top of the rivers.

Normal bridges that we are used to see are like the Golden Bridge in California and London Bridge in London, but a lot of times big ships had problems with those bridges because they can't pass below the bridge. So, those bridges needed to have like a gate in order to let the ship pass without any problems. But the problem was on top of the bridge, with the cars, because when the gates opened the people in there needed to wait for the gates to open and to close before continuing their trip to the other side.

And now, this new type of bridge allows any type of ship to go on it, and the cars are able to go under the underwater bridge without any disturbances. That is what I like about this innovation of bridges, I think is an excellent idea of solving problems.
