Discovering a new place where to visit

Copenhagen, Denmark

This article is about some reasons why the people should visit Copenhagen, in Denmark. The woman that wrote the article gave some touristic places and events that may interest some people. She listed her favorite places:
Amalienborg Palace

  • Nyhavn canal: everyone should go to this canal, it has in the besides the known colored houses that always appear in the postals, in those houses she says that there are a lot of restaurants and coffees where to spend the time.
  • The Amalienborg palace: is the palace where the royal family live
  • It is one of the best places to go on a ride on bike, the people can rest a bike or can rent a tour in bike to go around the city
  • Black Diamond: is a beautiful library designed by the architects Schmidt Hammer Lassen, where the people can go and see some exhibitions and can drink coffee
  • Radhuspladsen: is a public square in the center of Copenhagen, in front of the Copenhagen city hall, which is surrounded by government buildings and there are a lot of hotels, parks, and museums nearby
  • Tivoli: is an amusement park surrounded by beautiful gardens, the second most popular seasonal amusement park, just behind Disney Park

Copenhagen bicycles
When I read this article I just fell in love with Copenhagen, this made me feel that I wanted to go there and to visit all these places. For me all the countries have something unique and special, and that they all have something to share with the world. This can be an example of what I am talking about, maybe the countries that the people know the most are England, France, Italy and Germany but there are other countries in Europe and in the whole world that have something beautiful that may be a reason to visit there.

So, for example, we have Denmark. I knew Denmark, I knew the capital but I never got interested on the country until I read this article (and at the beginning I didn't want to read it). So by reading it I discovered that Denmark has a lot to offer to the visitors, there are a lot of places where to go, a lot of old architectures that we should see, a lot of restaurants where to eat, etc.

Black Diamond
What I think is that this may occur to a lot of people. The people usually go to the well-known places, but without realizing that there are other cities that can offer you other things. Maybe we like to go to Paris to see the Eiffel Tower, or to London to go through the London Bridge or to take a ride in the London Eye, but who would know that there is a beautiful library and a canal with colored houses besides in Copenhagen?

I loved this article because the people need to know what good places we can go to visit, the people that write these articles as this woman gives us reasons to go to a different place on vacations. And I loved that I discovered something new from a country which I never looked before.

Teleferico de Mukumbari

Merida, Venezuela

This article is about the "Teleferico Mukumbari" in Merida, Venezuela. Here they talk few things about this new cableway that was inaugurated in Merida last May, they say that more than 70 thousand people has visited the cableway in 4 months (because the article was written in September 2016).
The article explain that it was closed for more than 8 years because the cableway was being remodeling, the ones in charge of the tourism in Venezuela were improving the facilities, the infrastructure, the stations, the restaurants, the cabins, and more.
And it also explains why this is one of the most visited touristic places. First because the cableway visit 5 stations (Barinitas, La Montaña, La Aguada, Loma Redonda and Pico Espejo) in which you can appreciate the diversity in the vegetation and in the landscape; one of the more characteristic plant is the one called Frailejon, in the way to the top the visitors can appreciate 64 types of Frailejones.
The first station Barinitas is 1,555m over the sea, and the last station Pico Espejo is 4,765m over the sea. While going from the 4th to the 5th station the people can see and take pictures of the Pico Bolivar, the highest point of the highest mountain in Venezuela. Pico Espejo, the last station is near the Pico Bolivar, it is why so many people go to the Pico Espejo and then they take a walk to the Pico Bolivar where there is a bust of Simon Bolivar.
Sometimes, depending on the time of the year the people that visits there Loma Redonda or Pico Espejo they can see snow.

I imagine that more than 70 thousand people has visited the cableway in Merida because a lot of people were waiting for it for more than 8 years. When it was inaugurated everybody was excited because they could visit again this touristic place, which is one of the best touristic places in the country along with the Salto Angel and the beautiful beaches that we have.

I visited the cableway on vacations and it was espectacular, I have never been there and I really liked it, it was so modern and clean. They had in every station a place where to buy food, which is very important because as no everyone is accustomed to the high places the people need to eat or at least to drink something like coffee or chocolate so they don't faint.

And one of the things that I loved was the view of the mountains while going up in the cableway because you could see from one side to the city of Merida and from the other side the whole view of the mountain, the Frailejones, the roads; when going to Loma Redonda I could see the huge lakes in between the mountains, and then going to Pico Espejo I could see the statue of Miranda in one of the highest point of one mountain and I could see all the Pico Bolivar and the frozen rivers. It was just beautiful and a good experience.
