Teleferico de Mukumbari

Merida, Venezuela

This article is about the "Teleferico Mukumbari" in Merida, Venezuela. Here they talk few things about this new cableway that was inaugurated in Merida last May, they say that more than 70 thousand people has visited the cableway in 4 months (because the article was written in September 2016).
The article explain that it was closed for more than 8 years because the cableway was being remodeling, the ones in charge of the tourism in Venezuela were improving the facilities, the infrastructure, the stations, the restaurants, the cabins, and more.
And it also explains why this is one of the most visited touristic places. First because the cableway visit 5 stations (Barinitas, La Montaña, La Aguada, Loma Redonda and Pico Espejo) in which you can appreciate the diversity in the vegetation and in the landscape; one of the more characteristic plant is the one called Frailejon, in the way to the top the visitors can appreciate 64 types of Frailejones.
The first station Barinitas is 1,555m over the sea, and the last station Pico Espejo is 4,765m over the sea. While going from the 4th to the 5th station the people can see and take pictures of the Pico Bolivar, the highest point of the highest mountain in Venezuela. Pico Espejo, the last station is near the Pico Bolivar, it is why so many people go to the Pico Espejo and then they take a walk to the Pico Bolivar where there is a bust of Simon Bolivar.
Sometimes, depending on the time of the year the people that visits there Loma Redonda or Pico Espejo they can see snow.

I imagine that more than 70 thousand people has visited the cableway in Merida because a lot of people were waiting for it for more than 8 years. When it was inaugurated everybody was excited because they could visit again this touristic place, which is one of the best touristic places in the country along with the Salto Angel and the beautiful beaches that we have.

I visited the cableway on vacations and it was espectacular, I have never been there and I really liked it, it was so modern and clean. They had in every station a place where to buy food, which is very important because as no everyone is accustomed to the high places the people need to eat or at least to drink something like coffee or chocolate so they don't faint.

And one of the things that I loved was the view of the mountains while going up in the cableway because you could see from one side to the city of Merida and from the other side the whole view of the mountain, the Frailejones, the roads; when going to Loma Redonda I could see the huge lakes in between the mountains, and then going to Pico Espejo I could see the statue of Miranda in one of the highest point of one mountain and I could see all the Pico Bolivar and the frozen rivers. It was just beautiful and a good experience.

Hotel Capsules

Tokyo, Japan

This article is about a modern and new hotel in Tokyo that consists in a bunch of small capsules that have all the necessary for the people to sleep.
In this hotel the guests can rent a small capsule to sleep for a night if they lose their plane or they have to pass the night in Tokyo and spending money in a normal hotel is too much. So the people prefer to just rent one of this capsules that has a bed, a tv, a radio and an alarm, everything that somebody needs to sleep.
According to the article the capsules cannot be closed by inside, it means that they are open and that somebody can open your door while you are sleeping. And also, the article mentions that when a person rents the capsule, they give you a towel, gown and toothbrush so you can take a bath if you want, and the bathrooms are shared with other people.

I think that this new and modern hotel that the citizens from Tokyo created is fantastic. Mostly because sometimes people can miss a plane, or you are just in a city for one night, or maybe 2, but paying a very expensive hotel when the only thing that you do there is sleep? For that is better just to rent one of this capsules that have all the necessary for you to go to sleep and that's it.

If you get to think a little bit when you go to a place, you have a conference, you are going to visit someone else, you are just going to wait until the next day to continue your trip, you just use the hotel to sleep because most of the people have other things to do than just sleeping all day. Therefore I think this is a great idea because, you just don't reduce what you scentially need to sleep, you don't waste so much money, and the idea of learning having less things and just be focused on the important is really significant. No everybody has that concept for their lives.

I consider that the fact that the people in Tokyo made this hotel is very important, now people from other countries can get inspired from this new hotel and make some changes in the hotels of the future.

5 places that you should visit

Malta
Buthan

This article is about 5 not-so-popular places that we should visit once.
Austria

  1. Malta: is located in Europe, south from Italy and Greece. "Malta is warm, economical and fully accessible. Making it the perfect alternative place to your most visited neighbors like Greece and Italy." And it has one of the most beautiful beaches and temples.
  2. Buthan: is located in south Asia, between China and India. "Known also as one of the happiest countries in the world, Bhutan is peaceful and full of beautiful panoramic views that will delight your eyes." And it has a characteristic that the principal city doesn't have traffic lights.
  3. Austria: is located in the center of Europe, near Germany. "It has natural charms that are not far behind compared to Paris, London or Rome. Like: "Art galleries, stately palaces and beautiful museums are accessible via the Vienna subway." And it has a characteristic that is one of the best places to practice ski.
  4. Canada: is located in North America, at the north of USA. "Canada has beautiful natural landscapes that offer endless opportunities to explore. Your National Parks will leave you with your mouth open." One of the Natural Parks that Canada offers are the Niagara Falls.
  5. Canada
  6. Mozambique: is located in Africa, at the north of South Africa, and at the west of Madagascar. It is "Surrounded by amazing white sand beaches and warm crystal clear Indian Ocean waters, this beautiful island competes against what the Maldives has to offer. Its tourists can enjoy an incredible safari on the Limpopo river, snorkel in the beautiful reef of the tofo coast, surf or live one of the best experiences: Swim with whale sharks and blankets very close to the Bazaruto archipelago."

Mozambique
We all know that once in our lives we have to go to al least one of the most popular cities in the world as London or Paris or New York, but also I think that sometimes we cannot get carried by the trend, and there are other no-so-recognized cities around the world that are beautiful, safe and we can expend good vacations on those cities.

From the list that this article mentions I visited one of the countries: Canada. I went for some weeks and I can say that it was beautiful, very different from the most recognized cities in the world, but I had great vacations there, the people was very nice and friendly and I met a lot of people. So, I think is good to get to know other cultures and try other places rather than going to a place where everybody goes.
